On the 15th of August, St. John’s School, Fatehpur, came alive with patriotic fervour as students, teachers, and staff gathered to celebrate the 79th Independence Day of our beloved nation. The day began with the solemn flag hoisting ceremony by the Sr. Shilpa C.J, followed by the singing of the National Anthem in unison, filling the air with pride and unity.
The program featured an array of vibrant cultural performances – melodious patriotic songs, energetic dances, and heartfelt speeches reminding everyone of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. Students also presented skits depicting India’s struggle for independence and its journey towards progress.
The spirit of nationalism was reflected in the colourful decorations, tricolour balloons, and the enthusiasm of every participant. The event concluded with inspiring words from the Rev. Fr. George Prakash Dantis (Manager), urging students to uphold the values of freedom, unity, and responsibility. Sweets were distributed, adding a touch of sweetness to the celebration.
The Independence Day celebration at St. John’s School was not just an event, but a heartfelt tribute to our great nation and a reminder that the future of India rests in the hands of its youth.
